Can you believe we are already in the first week of November? Next Friday we will be having our Field Trip to Summerset Plantation in Creswell, NC. We are still in need of drivers for our trip. We also very much appreciated the lunches in containers that can be thrown away, it makes clean up so much easier during our field trips.
Our class room is also currently in need of a home for our bunny Marshmallow. Some of our classmates have developed some allergies to bunny fur and we also can use the extra workspace. Marshmallow has a beautiful cage and is ready to go to a loving home.
During Parent conferences this week we have tried to talk to everyone about our upcoming outreach projects. For Thanksgiving the will be making trail mix for the residents of the assisted living apartments next to our old campus. We have asked for each family to sign up for one item. For our Christmas outreach we are doing Stockings for Soldiers. We have sent home a list of all the items we are allowed to send to our troops. Items for both outreach projects need to be sent in by November 20th.
