We are so excited that we are starting a garden outside our classroom. We will have a few herbs and Tomato plants we have brought in to the classroom. The kids started last week by weeding the beds to prepare for the plants. I have made a rotating schedule so that each child gets a chance to work in the area each week. If you are able to donate any items; such as potting soil, fertilizer, or small hand tools, that would be so appreciated. By the end of this week all the kids will have had a chance to be outside so please ask them questions about our new learning opportunity.
