March 28, 2011 Dear Parents, We are having a wonderful time at school learning about everything from math to zoology. The students have been working very hard and we appreciate your support with the weekly progress reports. This week we have attached a summary note. The classroom is in need of some donations. Currently we need tissue, composition books, dish soap and glue sticks. Anything you can donate would be much appreciated. Reminders: · Hot lunch is this Wednesday, March, 30th. · There is a teacher work day on Friday, April 1st. · Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next week. The list was sent out earlier this month with your scheduled time. Please let us know if you are not able to attend and need to reschedule. · Thank you to everyone who has sent in the field trip slip and money. March 31st will be the last day we will be able to accept this. Thank you to those who have volunteered for kids fest. We have been learning about Australia in the classroom and are getting ready for our dance. We know this is going to be great fun. Our students will be wearing khaki shorts, white button down shirts, red or blue bandanas, and brown shoes or boots. They may also wear a small roll of rope on their hip. Send in extra rope if you have it. Outback, (fishing) looking hats may be cute too. If you have any questions please let us know.
